The High-Tech Levi’s® Stadium Is The New Home To The San Francisco 49ers
Cupertino Electric, Inc. (CEI) wired the 1.85 million square foot Levi’s® Stadium. Acting in a design-build capacity, CEI built complex teledata, wireless and distributed antenna systems (DAS); designed the stadium’s sport field lighting and club lighting; installed the power distribution and control system; and installed a state-of-the-art fire alarm system. The mammoth sports venue has enough wire to link San Francisco to Los Angeles, is lit by 16,000 luminaries (80% of which are LED technology), and contains enough wireless access points to support 70,000+ fans logging on simultaneously to their mobile device during a game.
